Work Zone Equivalents

Since 2021 IMSA Ontario has not been presenting a Work Zone program.  At that time a decision was made to recognize other established Work Zone programs provided by other organizations rather than present our own program.  There are currently two recognized groups who present Work Zone programs which we recognize and have accepted as meeting the requirements of IMSA Ontario.

Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA) Traffic Control for Temporary Work Zones

  • This full day program is presented as both an in-person or Virtual online instructor lead program.
  • IHSA publishes an annual calendar of events.

Ontario Traffic Council (OTC) OTM Book 7 Training

  • This full day program is presented as both an in-person or online instructor lead program.
  • OTC publishes an annual calendar of events.

Both of these organizations present an eLearning or self paced programs.  Please note these programs are not accepted by IMSA Ontario.

IMSA Ontario also does not accept the OTC OTM Book 7 Consultants and Municipal Managers/Supervisors Training program.

No other Work Zone programs are currently accepted at this time.
